“Founded from 1673 to 1681. Originally located in the Amagasaki district, it was called Minami Teian. When the Meiji government separated Shinto and Buddhism, the Takasugi family, who lived in the Yotsuya district, temporarily stored the principal image. Later, it became Kamo Shrine. It is placed in the 11th FudashoIt has been affectionately called “Takasugi Kannon”. After entering the Taisho period, it moved to its current location. In 1967, it became independent from the shrine and became the fourth temple. Near the front shrine of Kamo Shrine, there is still a stone monument inscribed with “Sho-Kannon”, indicating the location of the old Kannon-do. “
