Kaimanji Temple

ADDRESS: 204-1 kodomari, kodomari, nakadomari-mathi, kitatsugaru-gun, Aomori-prefecture

It is said to have been built in 1658 to commemorate the victims of a shipwreck. The 1704 earthquake and tsunami destroyed the Kannon-do hall at that time and the principal image was washed away. It is also designated as property.
