In the early 1600s, there was a small Kannon-do hall where a statue of Sho Kannon was enshrined on the summit of Mt. Although it was rebuilt in 1678, it was destroyed in a fire in 1718, and the current Mido was rebuilt. The Kannondo itself and the eleven-faced Kannon statue are Hirosaki City designated tangible cultural properties.
